You‘re right, it‘s been an awful long wait and here is why:
We‘re freelance filmmakers who started this project as a small portrait in 2012. We started at a time when our dayjobs were in a slump. Despite all the private and corporate support this project received it outgrew its original budget and financially became a hobby. That means everyone involved has dedicated his spare time voluntarily. Every dime went into equipment rental and travel expenses. 28 shootingdays across the world and 150+ hours of footage later we arrived back home and our jobs suddenly skyrocketed again. We have been constantly working since we got back from California in summer 2013. Three babies have been born in the meantime and we will not give up giving birth to this precious one.
